An informational seminar was held at our faculty by units of the Gümüşhane Provincial Gendarmerie Command to raise security awareness in various areas of society.

The seminar, which was attended by the Traffic Branch, Combating Cybercrime, Combating Smuggling and Organized Crime, and Public Security Branches, provided students with information on many important topics, including traffic rules and safe motorcycle use, digital security and new-generation fraud methods, combating addiction, and combating domestic violence and violence against women (KADES application).

The event aimed to raise students' awareness of the risks they may face in their daily lives and to increase their sense of social responsibility. Gendarmerie personnel answered participants' questions and shared current examples on the topics.

Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Pınar Hayaloğlu thanked the Gümüşhane Provincial Gendarmerie Command officials for their contributions to the event, saying, "It is extremely important for us that our students are aware of both digital and social security. We will continue to raise their awareness through such collaborations."

The seminar ended with great interest and active participation of the students.
